Holy Smoke, Batman! Is Scanning Really the Solution?

Join us on Tuesday, November 18th for this one hour session which includes lunch and presentations on digitizing/scanning your documents and records. This educational session will include two speakers, Gwen Sanderlin from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and Stefan Hoppe from vdocs corp.
First listen to the real life experiences of NOAA’s Electronic Document System Project Manager, Gwen Sanderlin, in dealing with scanning almost two million complex records and all the details involved with a project of this size. Then hear from the President at vdocs corp, Stefan Hoppe, about additional technology solutions to digitizing your documents and records to meet your business needs and improve operational efficiency.
About the Speakers:
Gwendolyn Sanderlin currently serves as the Project Manager and System Administrator for the NOAA Southeast Regional Office’s EDMS (Electronic Document Management System). During her 23 years of federal service, she has served as an Information Technology Specialist and Webmaster for the Department of Interior, an Information Officer for the General Services Administration, and IT Program Analyst for the Federal Aviation Administration’s fleet management operations. After receiving her B.A. in Political Science from Saint Paul’s College in Lawrenceville, VA, Gwen obtained an IT System Certifications from Shepardstown College in Shepardstown, WV and earned additional credits from Eckerd College in Saint Petersburg, FL.
Stefan Hoppe is President and co-owner of vdocs corp in Seminole, FL, a company that provides organizations with efficient document management solutions resulting in cost savings and increased productivity. Stefan obtained his Masters degrees in Chemical Engineering and Business Administration in Berlin, Germany. In Germany he owned a turn-key-IT solutions provider business. He moved to the United States after being offered a position with Xerox Corporation in Dallas, TX where he held several management and senior management positions. As Marketing Sales Operations Manager, Stefan managed the $3B Xerox Office Solutions business in the Western part of the US. In 2001 he moved to Florida as Sr. Solutions Manager with responsibility for North Central Florida.
In 2004 Stefan and his wife, Anabella, started a Xerox Agency and Dealership. vdocs corp has evolved from selling Xerox office solutions to a full service document solutions provider, offering scanning services, document management systems, turn-key-integrations solutions with clients throughout Florida and the US.

Driving Directions:
From the north: Exit I-275 at 22nd Av So (exit 19); go west to Hwy 19 (34th St) (about a block) and south to SPC on the left, 10 blocks. From the south: Exit I-275 at 26th Av So. (exit 18); go west to Hwy 19 (34th St) (about a block) and south to SPC on the left, 6 blocks.
Parking:
Parking is free and is in the back (east side) of the building. Park in any available space; have everyone place their business card on their dash.
Enter the building through the main doors from the parking lot. Room 103 will be down the diagonal corridor to your right, on the right.
