Electronic and Paper Records – How To Control Records in Multiple Formats

Speaker: Donna Read, CRM

Have you ever had to decide which format was the official record, or been told to get rid of the paper, then you understand the experience of trying to manage the beast of electronic records and keep a handle on paper records at the same time.

Come and hear Donna Read talk about how to tame this hydra-headed dragon of multiple formats. Questions like: when do we convert legacy data to electronic, what do we do with the paper originals, do we need data maps, how does workflow help, are some records never going to be electronic, is the paperless office just a dream? The skill-sets needed to manage this animal and other solutions will be presented in this one-hour presentation.

About Donna:

Her background includes the project management for the simultaneous implementation of an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and a Records Management Application (RMA) when the technology was very new.
