What exactly are vital records?
Did you know there are different types of vital records?
How do you prioritize your vital records?
Do you know the first steps to take after a disaster to recover your vital records?
                       
These and other questions will be answered in this mini session on vital records by Donna Read, CRM.  Then we get a special tour of the Records Center for the Clearwater Branch of the Office of Ken Burke, Clerk of the Circuit Court, Pinellas County, Florida.

 

About the Speaker:

Donna was introduced to records management in 1996 when she joined the History Department of a private non-profit organization, also contained within the History Department was the Records Management division.


In June of 2002 she joined the National Archives and Records Administration as a Senior Records Analyst. In this role Donna travels in 8 states included in NARA’s Southeast Region and assists Federal agencies with their records management issues.

 

Donna is currently serving as the Vice President of the Florida Gulf Coast ARMA Chapter, and is a member of AIIM, FRMA, and SFA.
